A number of travel awards are available to support the attendance of participants. The applicant must be the first and presenting author of an abstract submitted to the symposium, and preferable live in a low-income country according to the IWA Country Classification. Preference will be given to young scientists (students or researchers who have completed their PhD in the last 10 years). The awards include free registration plus €1,000 to cover travel and accommodation.
Applications for IWA MEWE2016 Travel Awards should include:
- Applicants name and full contact details (mailing address, phone number, email address).
- Copy of submitted abstract.
- If already graduated: proof of graduation date* (copy of certificate / diploma), or proof of student status if still enrolled in a PhD program
- Supportive statement from current supervisor.
- Personal statement on why you believe the Committee should select you for an award.

All applications should be in a .pdf file format with the filename containing the applicants' name: "Surname_Firstname_TravelApp.pdf": and emailed no later than March 15th to mewe2016@env.dtu.dk
